Talk about the place to be for Sunday brunch! We were meeting up with family that lives further north so this was a nice half way point for us. The menu here is great with tons of variety for breakfast and lunch options and all of the entrées were massive so you better come hungry! With it being a busy Sunday afternoon the service was a bit on the slower side but our server was working hard with lots of outside tables and large parties. I decided to go with the eggs benedict since I hadn't had one in awhile and added avocado, and adding avocado to them meant an ENTIRE avocado which was awesome also the ham on it was a thick cut of ham so it was a hearty eggs Benny! I got the hash browns crispy and they were perfection some of the best hash browns I have had. If this place was closer I would definitely come more often but it is now in my mind as a go to spot when we feel like making the drive up!
Ok, if you don't know what you're in the mood for? Rainbow Oaks is the place for you. Better have a good appetite cuz they offer enough for two. I have to mention their burger on Texas bread, fantastic and huge but that's just fine with me because now I have another meal. I won't complain! Really.....everything I tried on their menu does not disappoint. Highly recommend.
Another absolutely unbelievably delicious meal. I cannot say enough about the herbs and spices used to sautee and cook the halibut I ordered. It was so so good....no need or desire to put on tarter sauce - on it's own delicious. Our wonderful waiter was prompt, kind and courteous, which only added to this dining experience. Side dish of asparagus was delectable as well....just the right amount of cooking, sauteeing and seasoning = perfection. Thank you to the Rainbow Oaks restaurant, it was all around memorable.
We went for the Wednesday Prime Rib dinner. The restaurant was cozy and crowded, with friendly service. The food came out quickly, too. A couple prime ribs, liver and onions, and a flat iron steak for the kids to split, we were stuffed and out in an hour. The green beans and tomatoes were a delicious side, and you can never go wrong with a baked or mashed potatoes. They have saltines for the soup and salads, too. Everything was great!
Walked in for brunch and we were accommodated right away. They had pretty standard diner-type food with generous portions. The service was stellar; our waiter was very friendly and cooperative, and was very attentive with topping off our water and coffee.
We ate here for the 1st time today, traffic was absolutely terrible on the freeway and we were all hungry. Service was great, we came in when it wasn't busy, we let our waitress know our kids were really tired and we needed to get in and out asap. Our food came quick and it was all good. Very cute country diner feel.
Overall .....EXCELLENT!!! Will be coming back again & again . Stroganoff was awesome Try and you won't regret it
